Plan on preregistering by emailing Kathy at least 2 hours before the class.
Once you preregister for a class you will be sent an invitation with a link to the class.
Plan on arriving 15 minutes before the class.
I will begin the class at the designated time.
You can attend the class with your video on or off.
Of course I would love to see you but you can also make this a more private experience if you prefer.
Plan on having what props you own close by. Many common items in homes can be substituted for official yoga props
For instance: books in place of blocks, firm cushions in place of bolsters, regular chairs in place of backless yoga chairs,
a tie or belt in place of a yoga strap. A hand towel could be used for an eye cover.
It's helpful to have a wall or counter close by for optional support in some of the poses.

4 Corners Yoga, located in Durango, Colorado, offers classes for all levels in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar. It is a fully equipped Iyengar yoga studio, with lots of natural light, a yoga horse and a large ropes wall. The Iyengar yoga method is characterized by the innovative use of props (which Iyengar designed himself) to make the poses available to everyone regardless of their limitations. This approach involves meticulous attention to detail and precision in performing the positions, maximizing their safety and therapeutic value. "Iyengar Yoga, one of the world’s most widely-practiced forms, emphasizes correct alignment of all parts of the body within each yoga asana (posture). This precision of approach builds strength and stamina, balance and flexibility, and a new sense of well-being. Achieving meditation in action, the practitioner learns to exist fully and vibrantly in the present moment.” - taken from the IYNAUS.org web site For more information about Iyengar yoga, visit the Iyengar Yoga: National Association o f the United States web site at http://www.iynaus.org |
